Our B. Pharm course provides a comprehensive understanding of science and medicine. It offers in-depth knowledge of how the chemical structures of specific compounds positively impact the human body.

Our B. Pharm college, through this program, monitors the journey of medicinal discovery and its applications. The course syllabus is structured to cover key elements of fundamental sciences and the practice of pharmacy.

Our B. Pharm course is affiliated under the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (MAKAUT) formerly known as West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT).

The B. Pharm program emphasizes the significance of laboratory experiments, theoretical studies, and interdisciplinary communication, along with research. Ultimately, it equips students for advanced education in pharmaceuticals and prepares them for professional success.

B. Pharm deals with the following subjects –

  1. Biochemistry
  2. Human Anatomy and Physiology
  3. Pharmaceutical Biotechnology
  4. Pharmaceutical Maths and Biostatistics

B. Pharm is an undergraduate degree that is offered for a duration of 4 years. The intake capacity of our B. Pharm stream is 100 candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate must have passed the ’10+2′ examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical/project wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above.
  • Must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category, i.e. SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PWD) in the above three subjects, taken together.
  • Must have passed English in the ’10+2′ examination with at least 30% marks.
  • The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned.
