The library is a member of DELNET (A very important library network which provides online access, inter alia, to a select list of online full-text foreign journals, US patent literature, union catalogue of books, journals, theses, dissertations, etc. Its Document Delivery Service (DDS), which provides Xerox copies of required journal articles, chapters of books, etc., is extremely useful.) A well-equipped Library is one of the most important sections of the Institute. The library uses Koha, an integrated library management software package, with all the modules for automated library operations. Our library is partially automated. The cataloguing and circulation system is automated. The library runs on Koha Integrated Library System. In the library, Web OPAC is available to search bibliographic records of library resources via the college website at anytime from anywhere. The ultimate goal of this Web-based Online Public Access Catalogue (WEBOPAC) is to enable users to browse the library collection online beyond the physical boundary of the college. Wi-Fi infrastructure has already been in place recently.
