The Pharmacy Museum is an important educational resource that showcases the history, development, and evolution of the pharmacy profession. It features a collection of medicinal plant specimens, crude drugs, traditional and modern dosage forms, old pharmaceutical equipment, and informative charts that help students connect theory with historical and practical knowledge. As per PCI guidelines, the museum serves as a visual learning aid for students to understand the origin of drugs, their classification, sources, and methods of preparation. Specimens of herbs, roots, leaves, seeds, and other natural products are displayed alongside detailed descriptions, enabling learners to recognize and appreciate the diversity of pharmacognostic resources. By preserving the heritage of pharmacy and presenting it in an engaging way, the museum deepens student’s understanding of the subject while inspiring respect for the roots of modern pharmaceutical science. Our museum was inaugurated on 15th May 2023 on the occasion of One day Workshop and Seminar Programme.
